Section B is based on the learning of Section A, attaching importance to the abilities of reading and writing. Firstly, there is a listening material about future career planning, which can guide students to give others advice and think over their own career planning. Then, the reading material explores the topic of talking to other people when we have problems. The textbook designs some tasks which are beneficial to improve students reading skills, especially for the careful reading. Through learning this article, students are able to build up the confidence to solve problems and prepare for the next activity of writing friend’s problems and the possible solutions.
After learning this unit, the students’ English synthesizing capacity and the study strategy will be enhanced, and they will also obtain some life lessons, such as making future career planning and solving problems positively.
