This unit is the sixth unit in the second volume of Grade 7 Go for it. This unit mainly focuses on the communicative function of “Talking about what people are doing” and the grammar concentrates on the present continuous tense. Students can use the present continuous tense to express specific actions. Through listening, speaking, reading and writing, students can cultivate their ability to use knowledge comprehensively and they can increase understanding, enhance friendship and learn happily in the process of participation, cooperation and communication. Besides, the topic is close to students’ life so it can easily arouse students' interest in learning and make them be willing to participate in relevant activities.
