In Section B, students begin to learn numbers by listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and take part in activities such as listening to dialogues, finding objects and pair work. They can realize the comprehensive application of old and new knowledge. The reading material for this unit is an advertising guide about “Mr. Cool’s Clothes Store”. The post-reading activities enable students to reproduce the information in the text through sentence-making, which can deepen the understanding of the article and help them prepare for future writing. So the topic of “shopping” is close to students’ life, and can easily arouse students' interest in learning and make them willing to participate in relevant activities.
二、学习者特征分析
Students in Grade Seven show great interest in English and they have acquired some basic knowledge of English. But they are still week in English writing. They prefer to do some interesting activities, such as watching video and pictures. In order to catch their attention, teacher should make the class funny and colorful and avoid teaching the language points by total teacher orientation. At the same time, students' oral English and listening skills are poor, so speaking and listening practice must be designed in specific teaching tasks. Thus students of all levels will experience the joy of success, improve their ability to use language comprehensively, and make rapid progress.
