Abstract:On the condition of the biological feedback training, observing the changes of physiological indexes on different cognitive styles of anxiety, exploring the differences of biological feedback treatment technology on different cognitive styles of anxiety; to provide certain reference for the treatment of anxiety, and personality types on the influences and effects of biological feedback technology based on the treatment of different personality traits of anxiety patients and therapeutic understanding. Method: Applied Embedded Figures Test (EFT) to separateindividuals into "field dependence" and " field independence"cognitive style groups. Then chose 8 individuals who scored more than 50 in Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) among each group. The 16 chosen individuals were subjected to a three-week, 30 minutes per-seesion biofeedback training. A control group received no treatments was also formed for comparision. When the last experimental session was over, both groups were given SAS test again to compare the pretest-posttest differences.Result: The experimental group showed significant pretest-posttest differences(P<0.05)in physiological indicator Electromyography (EMG), but no significant differences in alpha brain wave and SAS scores (P>0.05). The experimental "field dependence" group and "field independence" group received no significance in their SAS scores.(P>0.05) Conclusion: Biofeedback training can effectively relief people's anxiety.
