Abstract:The theory of second language acquisition has shown that different parenting styles will affect students’ learning habits to some extent, thereby affect their future learning development. Based on this, this paper, taking the students of Yushan Middle School in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province as the research subjects, tries to explore the influence of their parenting styles on their English learning habits, so as to help the parents guide their children to study effectively after class through the construction of effective strategies. By classifying different types of parenting styles and students' English learning habits, it is found that different parenting styles have caused different influence on the students’ English learning habits. And the thesis puts forward some corresponding suggestions for different parenting styles to improve the students’ English learning habits.
