ABSTRACT

The development of technology and science makes more abbreviations appear, at the same time, the problems of improper use in abbreviation also arise, which causes readers’ misunderstanding of the scientific papers. Meanwhile, people do not concern the abbreviation in the course of composing scientific papers, and the standard use of abbreviation has not attracted the attention of authors and editors. 

   To make the thesis arrangement more standard and the language expression of scientific papers more accurate and concise, in this paper, the author summarizes and analyzes the problems existing in the scientific papers, and then gives some reasonable suggestions on how to use the abbreviations more standardly. The author hopes that this paper can arouse people’s attention on the standardization of abbreviation in scientific papers.
