ABSTRACT

In the global world today, intercultural communication becomes more and more important.For the English major students, intercultural communicative competence is an essential ability. The English literature course, which is a compulsive course for  the English major students, can help them learn some cultural information of English speaking countries, and have an effect on cultivating the intercultural communicative competence of the students.
