Abstract

Xi Jinping: The Governance of China falls into the category of political discourse associated with a relatively strong nature of current affairs which is worth studying. Therefore, based on the Chinese-English version of this book, this article focuses mainly on the Chinese-English translation and the practice of amplification in this version. This research is done in the following aspects : an introduction of the amplification, a literature review, amplification in the Chinese-English version of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China and a conclusion., leaving the reader a deep impression to Xi Jinping: The Governance of China and have a basic sensitiveness to the amplification. From an analysis and study of the English version of The Governance of China, lifting our cognition of amplification to a new height.
