This unit is the forth unit in the first volume of Grade 7 Go for it. It mainly talks about “the position of objects”. According to English Curriculum Standard, the topic is close to students’ daily life. So students are more interested in participating in relevant activities. The activities (2a-2b) are listening parts which can consolidate the new words and new sentence patterns. The activities (2c-2d) require students to make conversations to improve their oral English. The grammar chart presents the singular and plural forms of nouns. Section B shows the rest of the new words in this unit and continues to consolidate the sentence patterns through listening and speaking activities, reading activities and collaborative activities. The activities (1a-1e) aim to consolidate the sentence patterns. The activities (2b-2c) are the reading parts, which can improve students’ reading ability. The last part of this unit is self-check, which helps students to review all contents they learned in this unit.
