Grade seven students have a sense of language perception and the accumulation of basic language knowledge. And they have known something about transportation which is close to students’ daily life, so it’s not difficult for them to comprehend this unit. Some pictures, sounds and a video are suggested to stimulate students’ interests in learning English, which are in accordance with their cognitive characteristics. Learning this unit, students are involved in some interesting activities and given more opportunities to express their ideas. Through pair work and group work, their problems would be largely solved. What’s more, in adolescence, they are rebellious and their self-control is poor. Therefore, the teacher is suggested to make the class well-organized and encourage students to cultivate good habits of English learning.
