中文摘要: 作为在一战期间的作品,威廉·萨默塞特·毛姆创作的这本《月亮和六便士》,承载了当时人的迷失和反抗。多年过去,这部小说的非但没有丧失魅力,反而因为时光的打磨而历久常新,皆因无论世事如何变改,人生的意义永远萦绕在人们的头脑中,甚至值得花一辈子的时间去探索、寻求。本文的主要目的是通过基于小说的文本例证来分析其主要人物的特征,进而提炼和深化小说的主题。
本文分成三个部分。第一部分是对《月亮和六便士》这本书的作者威廉·萨默塞特·毛姆,以及其时代、创作背景进行介绍。第二部分是本文的主体部分,分为三个小部分。第一小部分着重分析斯特里克兰,分析其作为平凡与非凡共同体的合理性。第二小部分主要是分析戴尔克作为完美与有缺憾的完美的结合的情感纠葛。第三小部分简要分析小说中三位作为主人公映射的人物特征及创作该人物的意义和作用。第三部分是对小说主题的总结,是基于上文对主要人物特征的分析而提炼出的三个不同主题的总结。
