摘要:我国酒店业起步较晚但发展很快,该行业竞争日益激烈,国外的管理经验丰富,体制日益完善,加入WTO后,外国酒店业的进入对国内酒店业造成很大的冲击,酒店之间的竞争,是产品的竞争、技术的竞争、质量的竞争、价格的竞争、管理的竞争,但归根到底是人才的竞争,为了在竞争与发展中立于不败之地,必须注重人才的培养。员工培训作为提高员工素质、饭店服务水平和对外竞争力的重要手段已为众多的酒店管理者所接受,各种类型的酒店培训工作开展起来,但由于其中存在的种种问题,最终的培训效果却与管理者的预期相距甚远,解决这些问题已刻不容缓.本文阐述了酒店员工培训的基本概念以及培训的意义,分析了我国酒店业员工培训的现状及存在的问题,最后提出了一些提升我国酒店员工培训水平的相应策略及解决措施。最后,期望本文在我国酒店员工培训方面有一定的实际意义。

酒店业的竞争归根结底是人才的竞争。人才的培养,靠的是系统的培训。酒店要发展,就必须加强人力资源开发,开发的关键就是要对员工进行全方位的管理培训,使之在自身技能水平提高的同时对酒店的发展带来新鲜、实用的动力,使酒店在社会发展中处于有力地位。因此,重视培训、重视员工全面素质的提升和酒店文化的认同,把酒店建成学习型组织,通过提升酒店核心竞争力,从而最终实现酒店与员工“双赢”,总结一些较为成功的酒店企业的经营经验,不难发现其中最重要的一条是人的因素,即人是企业最重要的资源。作为劳动密集型产业的酒店业需要一批受过训练、懂得现代企业经营与管理的专业人才。只有具备这样的人才,酒店业才有可能满足旅游业蓬勃发展的需要。
